With a steadily changing urban jungle, our leisure spaces at home are getting smaller and smaller. What if there was somewhere you can sit down with your friends and play your board games in safety and without distractions? We have gaming tables in the shop where you can set up your game and play! In every issue we'll discuss recent events or upcoming conventions, then take a look at new arrivals and new demo games at the shop. We've always been a big fan of Citadels at the shop. Besides an updated art style, this version includes an entire 3rd set of characters that can be mixed in to spice things up, with some creative new play styles. On top of this, the character cards are now tarot size, making them easier to distinguish form the district cards. There's also a set of reminder tokens to place on the table. This reminds all the players which characters are in play and speeds up the game when one of the newer players becomes King and needs to suddenly run the show. The game also includes a nice new King token, though we still recommend grabbing an inflatable crown from your friendly local party shop for added crazy.
