Paternoster, this picturesque fishing town, is one of the oldest coastal towns along the West Coast and is famous for its crayfish. It is one of the last traditional fishing villages on the west coast, most certainly the most romantic and peaceful place on this scenic coastline. Here, in this quaint fisherman's village of Paternoster, Limestone House is waiting to welcome you, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two or wanting to enjoy a family holiday by the sea. Our holiday home, with TGCSA star grading, is extremely generous with space and offers three bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, the other two with double beds each, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a ten seater table designed to host long drawn out meals, and a giant fireplace. The Apartment upstairs, offers two bedrooms, one full bathroom, an inside braai, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room-lounge. The beach with its secluded coves and huge boulders is less than 50 meters from our doorstep. Make this your accommodation in Paternoster whilst you explore our delightful, charming little west coast town. No visit to Paternoster is complete without having been to the West Coast Fossil Park which is famous for the thousands of fossil bones discovered on the site, dating back some 5 million years and attracting world-wide attention. The West Coast National Park which is home to an enormous variety of fauna & flora is also worth a visit as is the Columbine Nature Reserve, a nature lovers’ paradise where you can view one of the last manned lighthouses. A visit during August and September will delight you with the spectacular seasonal flower display that transforms our countryside after the winter rains. The coastline offers an abundance of marine life, where dolphins and whales can be spotted. For the outdoor enthusiasts there is an abundance of hiking trails and the shoreline literally encourages kayaking. Enthusiasts can surf, snorkel, scuba dive, windsurf, kayak and enjoy relaxing walks on the beach. And for the incurable romantics there are always the unforgettable sunset in magical Paternoster.
