We have a Dover Stove for the stormy days should you wish to make a fire and have roll-downs, which protect us while we sip on red wine and stare out at the beautiful scenery.
We also boast one of the first Yerba Maté bar in Africa….
We offer accommodation in our cosy A-frame huts or Tents with comfortable beds/bed-frames or bring your own tent and pitch it in our designated area.
For those that want to do their "own-thing" the location is ideal for snorkelling, bird-watching, bouldering, hiking or just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Surrounded by pink Granite rock this rustic backpackers-type accommodation is situated in Columbine Nature Reserve - just outside of the small fishing village of Paternoster on the West Coast of the Western Cape.
Optional activities in the area include guided sea-kayak trips (sea and weather conditions dependent), horse riding, bicycle hire.
In the wintertime we get approximately 128mm of rain, so soak up some sun while it is raining in Cape Town.

The Beach Camp and other rustic tourist accommodation destinations in and around Cape Town offer people an escape from the stresses of modern life. There was also a designated area for people to pitch their own tents and still have access to all the facilities as a Resident of The Beach Camp. The children in the shelter are looked after and nurtured and the assistance by the volunteers and interns from African Sunrise is a godsend for them. Where is it possible to find holiday accommodation in a sober living house in Cape Town ? One forgets that not everybody actually drinks alcohol and there are some folks who actively seek out accommodation where alcohol is not served at all.
